Tom Parker Bowles, Queen Camilla Parker’s son, recently shared a funny memory of his “terrifying” meeting with the late Queen Elizabeth II. Despite being part of the royal family, Tom prefers to stay out of the spotlight and met the Queen only twice. But one of those meetings? Oh girl, unforgettable!

Flashback to 2005: Camilla Parker married King Charles ll and boom! Tom felt somehow “terrified” after a surprise encounter with the Queen. Sneaking out for a cigarette with his sister Laura Lopes, he suddenly heard a voice: “Are you okay?” Turning around, he found the Queen herself speaking to them. Then, He and his sister followed her down the hall, totally impressed: Here’s the tea:
“Obviously she was magnetic and lovely and she was The Queen, the most famous person in the world. We just followed like two rather terrified but awestruck puppies as she went down the hall with the dogs.”
