Prince William is slowly recovering the spotlight in the Royal Family as one of the most hard-working members of the family. Recently, the Prince arrived in South Africa to kick off the Earthshot Prize Week.
The Prince of Wales arrived in Cape Town, South Africa, for a four-day visit for the Earthshot Prize. The Prize is aimed at finding innovative solutions to climate and environmental issues, the royal followers praised William for this initiative, remarking on the late Princess Diana’s hard work.
The first royal duty started on November 4, including a meeting with 120 young environmentalists hailing from across Africa and Southeast Asia as part of the inaugural ceremony for the Climate Leaders youth program.
“The Earthshot Prize believes in you, and the reason we set the prize up is for moments like this. All of you in this room are future changemakers, you’re the leaders, and you’re the people going to make a difference going forward. It’s your platform. Use it as you need to, take it away, play with it, turn it into something different.”
Thank you for an incredible welcome in Cape Town, already feeling inspired after an afternoon at the first @EarthshotPrize Youth Leaders programme! 🌎 pic.twitter.com/yxRVwqv8ZE
