BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars’s new song, “APT,” became a global phenomenon in a matter of days because of its catchy sound. The song has particularly gained attention in the United Kingdom which is breaking records for the Kpop artist.

On November 1, the Official Charts of the United Kingdom announced that “APT” had risen to No. 2 in its second week on the charts. The song was just surpassed by Gigi Perez’s “Sailor Song,” which shot to No. 1 this week.

Rosé has broken her record for the highest ranking ever achieved by a female Kpop, including Kpop girl bands in the United Kingdom. The idol initially claimed the title a week ago after debuting at No. 4
