BTS’ J-Hope turned a baseball game into a mini dance floor! The K-pop star took to the mound for the first pitch at the Korean Series game for the KIA Tigers in Gwangju, his hometown. But the real surprise? When BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars’ hit song “APT” hit the speakers, J-Hope couldn’t resist busting out some serious moves, making this a major win for ARMY, BLINKs, and Number Ones (that’s the name BTS, BLACKPINK and Rosé fans wear proudly).
WDYM JHOPE IS DANCING TO APT?? 😭
IT’S BEEN ONLY A WEEK SINCE HIS DISCHARGE AND I’M ALREADY GETTING MY CRUMBS 😭😭 pic.twitter.com/dHtvsSw25F— bornpinkpurple🦄 (@mrgtbp) October 23, 2024
Despite the earlier rain delay pushing the game to October 23, J-Hope’s vibe was casual, cool, and nice. He impressed fans not just with his pitch but also by jamming out in the stands. Sporting an informal style, he made it clear his dance moves aren’t rusty at all, with those hip-hop vibes perfectly matching the beats of “APT.”

This moment marks J-Hope¿s first public event since wrapping up his military service on October 17. Freshly out, he showed he’s still got it—both on and off the field! After Jin, the rapper is the second BTS member to be discharged from the South Korean military. The remaining members are expected to complete their service by June 2025.
