A few hours ago it was reported that Liam Payne‘s family won’t be able to repatriate his body to the UK until the cause of his death is confirmed, even after almost a week of his sad death in Palermo, Argentina.
After the British singer’s death, his body has been under many examinations to discover the truth behind his sudden and tragic passing after falling from the third floor of a hotel room, for which his father, Geoff Payne, traveled to make it faster and take his son back to their country.
However, CNN media report that researchers are not ready to give the body to the family as they need more toxicological reports, according to a statement from prosecutors in Buenos Aires, Argentina:
“The representative of the Public Prosecutor’s Office informed the father that the toxicological and histopathological studies complementary to the autopsy have not yet been completed, and that their results are necessary to decide on the delivery of the body“.
In addition, the statement also expresses that “the prosecution is not aware of any other studies or laboratory analyses to date, nor has it released any specific technical report outside the exclusive framework of the investigation and the judicial process corresponding to the case“.
