Fresh out of military service, BTS’ J-Hope is back—and he’s already making us go “aww”! Just days after his discharge, he sent a condolence wreath to a fellow soldier’s family. Even after returning to civilian life, J-Hope proved his loyalty and compassion by supporting his former soldier member during a difficult time.
This thoughtful act was revealed on social media, where a fan shared a friend’s story from the private funeral on October 22, 2024. The wreath, marked with the messages “BTS J-Hope” and “Rest in Peace,” was a surprise at the service. Although the BTS member wasn’t physically there, his sincerity and care shone through, making fans and others praise him for this heartwarming act.

J-Hope officially enlisted on April 18, 2023, and wrapped up his service last week, on October 17, 2024. Serving as a training assistant in the 36th Infantry Division, he was always on ARMY’s mind. As of now, he is the second BTS member to be discharged, joining Jin.
