Prince William and Kate Middleton may seem like the perfect royal duo, but their bedtime dynamic has a furry twist—sleeping with their dog, Orla. During a recent visit to Duchy College Stoke Climsland, The Prince of Wales confessed this cozy fact, to dog-lover Louise Harland, who was in the event with her own dog, Jacks.

Louise later shared that William couldn’t resist asking about her dog, a rare “Cockerjack,” and even got nostalgic about his own furry baby. Orla joined the royal household back in 2020, a sweet gift from Kate Middleton’s brother, James Middleton, who’s known for his love of dogs. Before Orla, the Waleses had Lupo, who sadly passed away in 2020.
“[He was] absolutely in love with my little dog. He asked what breed he was and he’s never met one of those breeds – he’s a Cockerjack – so he’s a little bit of a unique combination.”
It looked like even royals can’t resist a cuddle with their doggo and Orla has earned her spot as the ultimate royal sidekick!
