BLACKPINK’s Rosé dropped “APT,” her new single with Bruno Mars on Friday, October 18. Since its release, her Number Ones and BLINKs (that’s the name Rosé and BLACKPINK fans have) adored the song, especially in South Korea. But here’s the best part: not only is the song a banger in the K-pop industry, but it’s also making massive moves in United States Spotify and Global Spotify.
The numbers are here: Rosé earned the best debut by a K-pop female solo act in Global Spotify history, effectively surpassing the releases by her bandmates Lisa, and Jennie and other idols such as aespa’s Karina, Taeyon or IU. “APT” entered at #3 on Global Spotify with 6.85 million streams, proving the track’s massive reach.
