Jessi was summoned by the Police for questioning following a fan’s assault

Although the Kpop industry doesn’t stand out for having multiple controversies, Jessi has broken the record of being the center of attention when things go wrong. The idol was involved in a fan assault, which resulted in a major case for the Gangnam Police Department.

On October 16 KST at around 10 PM, the idol appeared at Gangnam police station for questioning related to the viral incident. A fan, who had approached Jessi for a photograph, was reportedly attacked by a man in her group.

The idol didn’t want to answer any question from the media, but she ultimately agreed to answer some of the most important questions from the reporters. However, she declined to answer further questions about the incident because she didn’t want to intervene in the altercation.

“I hope they find the perpetrator ASAP. I hope the perpetrator gets punished. I will tell [the police] everything I know as it happened. It was the first time I saw the attacker that day.”
