Seunghan officially leaves RIIZE a few days after rejoining the group

Just two days after his planned return, Seunghan a now former RIIZE member has officially left the group. SM Entertainment’s Wizard Production confirmed the news on October 13, leaving fans in shock. This follows the company’s initial announcement of his return to the group starting in November.

While the 21-year-old was expected to rejoin, the backlash from some fans and the general public led to his decision to step down, leaving RIIZE with six members. Public reactions were divided, and SM Entertainment apologized for any confusion caused.

The statement from RIIZE’s management revealed that Seunghan wanted to exit for the sake of the group and its fans. He felt that his presence caused more damage than benefits, and the company ultimately respected his wishes. Seunghan also shared a heartfelt message on Weverse, thanking his fellow members and the company for their support.

Initially, the idol was put on hiatus after a series of pictures kissing an identified lady on a bed were leaked. Adding to the drama, some footage and rumors of the idol’s smoking habits were also shared. Even though the first plan was for him to rejoin RIIZE, the group will now remain with six members.
