According to Desmond MacCarthy, owner of Wiveton Hall Café, Prince George reportedly reveals he wants to become a chef before becoming king, breaking centuries of tradition, as British media reported last year that he will not be expected to serve in the Armed Forces.
The young royal visited the establishment with his mother Kate Middleton and some friends; apparently the little prince was completely surprised with the kitchen of the place, but especially with the implements they had there to prepare meals, and in particular pizzas, which would make the future heir realize something about himself.
According to the source, William’s eldest son realized during the tour of Wiveton Hall Café that he has a new passion, cooking. MacCarthy assured that Prince George said, “That’s what I want to do when I grow up!” As soon as he saw the wood oven, they had to cook the pizzas.
This indicates that the eldest grandson of King Charles III has developed a strong interest in cooking, and if he follows that passion, he could become the first chef in the royal family and even the first monarch with this career, putting an end to so many years of tradition in the British crown.
