BTS’ Jimin is one the most beloved members of the boyband by the fans and the general public as well. For these special reasons, the fans have consecrated October as Jimtober because of the idol’s birthday on October 13, the celebrations are taken so seriously that even the Busan government had to deploy a special task force to protect the attendees.
BTS fans, better known as ARMY, often travel to South Korea, particularly to Busan, which is Jimin’s hometown to visit some iconic locations related to the idol. Including his father’s café, for this reason, large crows gathered there in the morning and the number of visitors has grown over the years.
The Busan local government showed their concern for protecting the population during this kind of celebration by creating a task force to ensure the safety of the guests. Ultimately, Jimin’s birthday has become a significant tourism factor and boosted the local economy.
The Busan Ilbo reported that due to the thousands of visitors expected during BTS Jimin’s birthday, a task force of 36 has been mobilized to help with safety at ZMillennial Cafe. ARMY couldn’t be more excited that the government considers Jimtober as an important event to bring security for the well-being of everyone.
