Billie Eilish spills on the rise of Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, and Chappell Roan

Billie Eilish is all in her feelings for her fellow pop queens—Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, and Chappell Roan—who are slaying the music scene right now. In a recent chat with the LA Times, Billie, alongside her brother and producer Finneas, gushed about how proud she is of these hitmakers. When asked if she feels threatened by their newfound fame, Billie did not hold back:

“Are you kidding me? I’m so happy for these bitches. It’s a crazy world when you get to the level they’re experiencing right now, and they’re doing great. Fans are drawn to them because they’re fucking awesome.”

But Billie Eilish is not just here for the glitz and glam. She shared how surreal it was early in her career when she thought she’d “never feel like a person ever again” after a TSA officer snapped her pic. Fame, she said, can be suffocating at times. The singer sympathized with Chappell Roan’s comments about the darker side of stardom, which she found this year.

Meanwhile, Billie Eilish is slaying with her “Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour,” which has 83 dates across Australia, North America, and Europe.
