BLACKPINK’s Jennie is body-shamed over her song ‘Mantra’ new concept photo

In recent days, BLACKPINK‘s member Jennie received body-shamed comments on social networks over her song ‘Mantra‘ new concept photo.

In the image, the idol can be seen posing on a vehicle with a white bodysuit showing off her long, wavy black hair, and although many agreed that she looked beautiful, X users made her viral as many claimed that the singer looked ‘fat’ in comparison to how she always shows herself in her Calvin Klein photos, where she highlights her small waist and flat abdomen.

Jennie, who was only looking to promote her new single that will be released on October 10th, ended up being the victim of body shaming, as some internet users on social networks left abusive comments against her physique.

Some internet users speculated that the BLACKPINK member was expecting a child or was very ‘bloated’ and left comments like, “Why does it look like you’re pregnant?“, “she looks pregnant (who’s the father? Gdragon, Teddy oppa or TG ceo?)“, “she forgot to edit this“, among many others.
