Find out these 7 K-Pop groups who experienced the ‘6 members curse’

Even if you are not superstitious, the curses in K-Pop have their curious justifications, and here you can find out 7 K-Pop groups who experienced the ‘6 members curse’ despite their success, talent, and efforts to grow in the industry.

1. GFRIEND: This girlgroup consisted of Sowon, Yuju, Yerin, SinB, Eunha, and Umji and had a successful career of six years until their sudden disbandment in 2021 after their contracts with the agency Source Music expired.

2. (G)I-DLE: On August, 2021, this six-member group suffered an unfortunate event when Soojin derpartured after she was embroiled in school bullying rumors, leaving the group with only five members.

3. LE SSERAFIM: At the beginning of their career, this girl group had six members, but short after Kim Garam’s school violence allegations went viral on networks, leading her to leave the group for the best of their reputation.

4. ONEUS: Although the boy group used to have six members, it changed when the member RAVN faced accusations involving sexual misconduct and breaking COVID-19 health regulations, leading him to leave the group but also the K-Pop industry.

5. MOMOLAND: This girlgroup recently experienced a different kind of this curse, as they originally were a 9-member group, but they suffered the departure of Yeonwoo, Taeha, and Daisy, suddenly becoming a 6-member group.

6. MONSTA X: The group debuted as a seven-member K-pop act in 2015, but the strong allegations of illegal drug usage against Wonho led him to leave the boy group in 2019.

7. 2PM: Jun.K, Nickhkun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Junho, Chansung, and Jaebeom debut with this group, but this seven-member line-up did not last forever, as twelve years after the agency announced Jaebeom’s (Jay Park) contract ended due to allegedly expressing his hatred for Korea.
