BigHit Music has been involved in tens of controversies over the last couple of weeks because K-Netizens have demanded that they protect their artists, including BTS, from online harm and the spread of misinformation. However, they are now under fire for their latest post referring to the success of some boy band members.
On September 30, BigHit Music took over “X” (Formerly known as Twitter) to share an article about BTS’ RM, V, and Jungkook about their recent accomplishments in music videos, festivals, and other significant achievements.
The controversy started right when K-Netizens learned the article was created by Lee Seon Myeong, who has become popular among the fans, better known as ARMY because he has defamed the boy band in the past.
On top of that, ARMY also noticed there was a lack of information about BTS’ V after they only shared screenshots of his latest music videos from “LAYOVER.” However, he was mentioned in the title. BigHit Music hasn’t released any official statement to clear the air about the rising controversy.
