BLACKPINK’s Lisa made waves at the 2024 Global Citizen Festival with the surprise debut of her upcoming track, “Moonlit Floor.” Performing in New York’s Central Park on September 28, the Thai sensation lit up the stage with a bombastic set that included her solo hits “LALISA” and “MONEY,” but boom! It was “Moonlit Floor” that stole the spotlight.
This new bop features a dreamy interpolation of Sixpence None the Richer’s iconic 1998 track “Kiss Me,” giving the song a nostalgic yet fresh vibe. With lyrics like “Kiss me under the Paris twilight, kiss me out on the moonlit floor,” Lisa’s take on the classic chorus matched both a classy style with her baddie feel.
“Moonlit Floor” follows Lisa’s string of solo bops, including “ROCKSTAR and her collaboration with Rosalía, “New Woman.” Set for official release on October 3, 2024, Lillies and BLINKs are already buzzing with excitement, marking the calendars for them to finally get their hands (and ears) on the BLACKPINK member’s new track.
