The young royal has an unexpected passion for the piano, much like her talented mom, who dazzled audiences by playing the instrument at her Christmas carol concert back in 2021. And who can forget her stellar piano performance at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest?
For the unversed, Kate Middleton achieved grade three piano and grade five theory. Now, it seems she passed her love for music down to her nine-year-old daughter. Need proof? Chinese pianist Lang Lang revealed that the Princess of Wales spoke to him about Charlotte’s piano playing during the Royal Variety Performance in 2023. This is how it went down:
“Her Royal Highness said to me that she said to Princess Charlotte ‘Hey, look, if you practise a lot you can be like him.'”

During a recent visit to Wales, Prince William shared that Charlotte loves dancing and performing, with Kate Middleton previously adding that her daughter is all about ballet and tap.
