According to royal commentator Gordon Rayner, this is King Charles III‘s favorite drink, ‘a mixture of half gin and half dry vermouth, garnished with a slice of olive or lemon‘, and now royal fans will be able to try it in person, thanks to a new project by the monarch.
The king has opened a bar for tourists at his Sandringham estate in Norfolk, where the monarch’s own alcohol brand will be available for just £6.50, as well as other items the monarch has launched such as ‘raspberry and gin jam’ and ‘gin-flavored chocolates’, according to The Sun.
“The spirit boasts the perfect balance of Norfolk apples and juicy raspberries, made by steeping chopped apples and whole raspberries in the distilled spirit before bottling“, they write on the Sandringham Estate’s official networks, assuring that visitors to the estate will be able to enjoy a quality alcoholic beverage.
Until October 11, 2024, Sandringham House and gardens will be open to the public seven days a week, and after the opening of this new bar, no doubt it will become a perfect choice for tourists visiting the country and want to know the natural products of the king.
