BTS’ has paved the way for tens of idols in the Kpop industry to open the doors for being recognized worldwide. Spotify and Apple Music are the most popular streaming services globally, South Korea doesn’t follow the general rule and uses Melon. However, Spotify has started gaining attention in the territory.
- BTS’ Jimin’s “FACE:” The idol had a triumphant debut album with “FACE,” which was greatly received in the United States, United Kingdom, and South Korea. The debut album garnered 105 million streams on Spotify South Korea so far.
- BTS’ Jungkook’s “GOLDEN:” In 2023, who didn’t listen to “Seven” or “Standing Next to You?” the two songs became a global phenomenon and South Korea wasn’t the exception to the rule. The album has already earned 87 million streams on the platform.

- BTS’ V’s “Layover”: The idol released one of his most heartfelt and beautiful musical projects ever and all of his efforts paid off. The album has already earned 27 million Spotify streams in South Korea.
