HYBE is not one to let online rumors hang around! The agency behind LE SSERAFIM and ILLIT has officially filed lawsuits against seven YouTube creators for spreading fake news and defamatory statements about their two girl groups. It’s time for the cyberwreckers to face the music!
The legal battle, filed through the Seoul Western District Court, is HYBE’s way of saying, “Not today, haters!” False claims have been circulating—everything from accusations of plagiarism against ILLIT to wild conspiracy theories about LE SSERAFIM to religious groups and pro-Japanese sentiments. Yes, you read that right, and the agency is ready to put those claims to rest for good.
In a fiery statement, HYBE made it clear they’re fully committed to protecting their artists. The agency said:
“We take these matters seriously and will not tolerate the spread of false information and defamation that harms our artists’ reputations. We have taken the necessary legal steps to hold these individuals accountable.”
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM and rookie group ILLIT are killing with their most recent music releases, “CRAZY” and “Magnetic,” respectively.
