The BTS fandom, ARMY, is not staying quiet as they launch a global hashtag campaign aimed at blocking former ADOR CEO, Min Hee Jin, from making her way back HYBE. Min Hee Jin, who once led the company responsible for launching the rising K-pop girl group NewJeans, has found herself in big controversy following months of conflict against HYBE and her subsequent removal as the CEO of ADOR.
As a response to Min Hee Jin’s potential comeback to HYBE’s ADOR, BTS fans are making their voices heard on social media by trending worldwide. ARMYs countries like the UK, Germany, and Southeast Asia have a clear message: “Min Hee Jin Out.” Their reasons? They cited questionable actions Min Hee Jin took against BTS, including working with shamans to spread negative media narratives about BTS and ARMY. The fandom’s anger only grows as they accuse Min Hee Jin of manipulating Korean media to damage BTS’s reputation.

While NewJeans has no direct role in the controversy, their undeniable connection to ADOR and Min Hee Jin has pulled them into the conversation. Most recently, the girl group went on a live stream to demand the former CEO’s reinstation to HYBE’S ADOR. Additionally, BTS’ Jungkook recently showed support for NewJeans. Despite this, the tension between ARMY and Min Hee Jin keeps growing, making things all the more difficult.
