On September 14 KST, The Golden Maknae updated his official Instagram account dedicated to his beloved dog, Bam. The post featured a gorgeous photograph of the dog, however, the caption immediately brought the attention of thousands of fans, better known as ARMY.
The idol added five heart emojis and a flexed bicep emoji accompanied by the following message, “Artists are not guilty.” The K-Netizens interpreted the five emojis as symbolizing the members of the rookie group, NewJeans, while the bicep emoji was interpreted as staying strong during this whole controversy.
NewJeans is currently caught in a dispute involving HYBE and Min Hee Jin, the former CEO of ADOR, the girls’ music agency. Ultimately, BigHit Music confirmed that the post was made based on the belief that no young artist should be involved in conflicts.
