King Charles III’s tribute to Prince William and Kate Middleton goes viral on networks

After his ascension to the throne, the monarch decided to honor William and his wife, as they became the next in line to ascend to the throne. For that reason, the king decided to grant them the title of Prince and Princess of Wales, dedicating them a beautiful speech that was recorded for posterity.

The recording was shared on TikTok, and you can see when the king addresses the eldest of his sons and says, “As my heir, William now assumes the Scottish titles, which have meant so much to me“, and adds, “Today, I am proud to create him Prince of Wales, Tywysog Cymru, the country whose title I have been so greatly privileged to bear during so much of my life and duty“.

King Charles III knows it is a job Prince William will not do alone, so he assured, “With Catherine beside him, our new Prince and Princess of Wales will, I know, continue to inspire and lead our national conversations, helping to bring the marginal to the center ground where vital help can be given“.
