NewJeans isn’t staying silent any longer! In a daring YouTube livestream, the quintet group publicly called for HYBE to bring back Min Hee-jin as the CEO of ADOR. The group took a pretty clear stance, saying that they would like their company to bring back their former CEO, emphasizing that Min Hee-jin’s leadership is essential for the future of NewJeans and the agency.
NewJeans sends message to HYBE and Bang Sihyuk to reinstate Min Heejin as the CEO of Ador by the 25th:
— “The ADOR that we want is an ADOR where the music production and company management are done by Min Hee-jin as the CEO. We make this request as the way to cohabitate… pic.twitter.com/tLgmCTZqHj

“We hope that HYBE makes the wise choice to reinstate Min Hee-jin as the CEO of ADOR by Sept. 25.”
This move from NewJeans comes after controversies and accusations going back and forth between Min and HYBE. This also occurred as Kim Ju-young stepped into the CEO role, a decision Min disagreed with. Despite these situations, NewJeans is firm in their support for her former CEO, saying:
NewJeans during their livestream:
— ““Min Heejin is not only the person who produces our music but someone who makes NewJeans who we are (…) she is integral to NewJeans’ identity and we all feel that she is irreplaceable”. pic.twitter.com/qY52Ej9FWq

“The ADOR we want is one where Min Hee-jin leads both music production and company management,” Minji continued, underlining the group’s trust in Min’s vision.
This live stream marks NewJeans’ most public statement on the ongoing HYBE-Min Hee-jin feud, which started in April. As September 25 approaches, all eyes are on HYBE and ADOR. Will the company listen to NewJeans’ requests or will the tension grow stronger?
