In a surprising livestream, NewJeans members dropped bombshell claims about HYBE’s mistreatment. The quintet exposed the agency’s “subtle bullying,” revealing that their former CEO, Min Hee-jin, was the only one who truly had their backs.

One of the most surprising parts was when member Hanni shared a shocking personal experience: while waiting at HYBE’s building, she was blatantly ignored by a manager who told their artist to dismiss her. “I can’t understand why I had to go through that,” Hanni said, visibly shaken.

“I was waiting in the hallway and an artist and their manager passed me by. I was going to say hello to them but the manager told them to ‘ignore her’ right in front of me.”

After reporting the incident, she was met with indifference from the new CEO. “Min Hee-jin fought for us, but the new executives just keep telling us things can’t be fixed,” Hanni continued, revealing the ongoing tension between NewJeans and the current leadership in HYBE’s subsidiary, ADOR.
