K-pop queens: BLACKPINK and Girls’ Generation share the crown in recent survey

Recently, Gallup Korea’s latest survey revealed that BLACKPINK and Girls’ Generation (SNSD) are South Korea’s most beloved girl groups in the 21st century. The survey, conducted between August 19 and 23, asked participants to vote for their favorite girl groups, with BLACKPINK and SNSD capturing 42% of the overall vote.

In total, the survey captured 1,052 voters who participated from the ages of 19 to 69. They were asked to choose the most “beloved girl group of the 21st century” and could only pick two out of 20 choices from the dazzling options. Right behind BLACKPINK and Girls’ Generation, NewJeans surprised in the third place.
