SM Entertainment recently dropped former NCT member Taeil following serious sexual crime allegations. After announcing the idol’s departure from the mega-group, the company decided to have itself and all NCT members unfollow Taeil from Instagram, and now they made a new move.
In a recent behind-the-scenes video for the group’s album Walk, where Taeil was originally present, there is barely any trace of the former NCT member now. The video was filmed before the allegations surfaced but was carefully edited out in most scenes. For example, the footage originally showed Taeil sitting next to Jaehyun, but now he is nowhere to be seen in the final count.

SM’s swift action didn’t go unnoticed, with fans praising the company for their handling of the situation despite the ongoing investigation. The agency, known for shielding its male idols from controversy, took quick action to distance both itself and NCT from Taeil.
