7 Kpop groups who have surpassed 15 million album sales

Kpop music became a major force inside of the music industry because of its catchy sound and the idol’s amazing performances. The next seven Kpop groups have set the bar so high for the new rookie groups, which expect some day to reach greatness just like they did.

  1. BTS: The boys debuted on June 13, 2013, and since then, they have been writing Kpop history. The boys have already achieved a whopping milestone of 45.01 million album sales, their best-selling album, “Map of the Soul: 7” with 5 million sales to date.
  2.  SEVENTEEN: The boys have earned a greater audience because of the uniqueness of their sound and their amazing performances, the boys have already made a total of 39.45 million album sales. On top of that, they have one of the most-selling albums in South Korea titled, “FML.”
  3. Stray Kids: The boys made a surprising appearance in the Top 3 with a total of 23.74 million album sales. Their magnum opus, “5-STAR (★★★★★)” already sold 5.26 million sales, declaring them one of the best groups in the Kpop industry.
  4.  NCT DREAM: There’s no doubt that NCT DREAM has given its all since its debut in 2016. The boys’ efforts paid off after they sold 18.79 million album sales. They’re currently one of the most popular idols, so it would be no surprise if they can skyrocket their album sales to a new milestone in the years to come.
  5. TWICE: The only girl group included in the list, TWICE has been always consecrated as one of the best girl groups in history for their amazing performance skills and beautiful songs. The girls have made a total of 16.87 million album sales.
  6. TXT: The latest group to debut in this list, TXT’s journey started in 2019, and since then they have made a total of 16.13 million album sales, their album, “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” has become the most popular of the boys reaching 3.24 million sales.
  7.  EXO: One of the pioneers of Kpop music has also made it into the list, the boys have made a total of 15.63 million album sales. Although of new emerging groups, EXO is still strong inside the industry and they promise to be for a couple of years more.
