The South Korean entertainment industry has had some of the greatest moments this year, showcasing all of the talents of actors, actresses, and idols. However, some cases caused a commotion among the K-Netizens

1. BTS’ Suga’s DUI incident: The South Korean media outlets made tens of headlines regarding BTS’ Suga’s DUI incident that occurred on the night of August 6. The idol fell outside the Nine One Hannam luxury complex in Hannam-dong from an electric scooter with an alcohol blood concentration over the legal limit.
2. Former NCT’s Taeil’s sex crimes: On August 28, Taeil’s former music agency, SM Entertainment announced he was immediately removed from the group because of the investigations for an unspecified sex crime. The idol is currently under investigation and no further news has been reported.
