In an effort to honor the memory of his mother, King Charles III is launching limited edition scarves inspired by the late Queen Elizabeth II, who was known to wear them on windy days or outdoor events.
In collaboration with eco-designer duo Vin + Omi, the monarch is set to produce a limited collection of just 100 units of these colorful scarves that the late queen loved to wear on walks around the Windsor and Sandringham estates off-duty.
The scarves will enjoy attractive colors in each design, as well as being made of Elizabeth’s favorite material for these accessories, silk. It was also revealed that these products will be available at Sandringham for the affordable cost of £85 each, quite reasonable considering that it is a limited edition of which only 100 units will be opened.
King Charles III, as well as designers Vin + Omi, have an environmentalist vision, and with the intention of counteracting the environmental cost of producing the scarves, they collected all the milk cartons from the Sandringham dining room to turn them into furniture.
