You can always count on BTS members when it comes to imminent success. Jimin gave a masterclass on how to roll out a sophomore album, including catchy songs and a concept that unified the idol’s artistry.
“MUSE” has been massively successful worldwide and has broken numerous sales and streaming records, just like his first solo album, “FACE.” On September 4, the album hit 1 billion platform streams and achieved two major milestones.
Jimin’s “MUSE” becomes the first and only album of 2024 by a Kpop act to hit the milestone. On top of that, it becomes the fastest Korean album by a Kpop soloist in history to reach this amazing achievement. “FACE” and “MUSE” now hold records as the first albums by Kpop Acts to reach 1 Billion streams both in 2023 and in 2024, with “MUSE” achieving it in 47 days and “FACE” achieving it in 153 days.
There’s no doubt that Jimin has overcome every challenge inside of the Kpop industry. Although the idol is currently enlisted in the military, the album is performing magnificently and it is expected to keep breaking some major records in the industry.
