Prince Harry‘s unexpected visit to England demonstrated his closeness to his maternal family, as during his stay the Duke of Sussex ended up staying at Princess Diana‘s childhood home in the UK.
Harry traveled to his native country to be present at the tribute to his late uncle Lord Robert Fellowes on August 29th, demonstrating his respect and the good relationship he has with his maternal family, since not even the presence of his brother William, with whom he has a family conflict, prevented him from accompanying his aunt Lady Jane.
Another proof that the relationship between Prince Harry and his maternal family is quite solid is that the Sussex stayed with his uncle Charles Spencer at Althorp House, the ancestral home of Princess Diana. This was a very touching visit but certainly comforting for the youngest son of the king, who surely felt at home during his visit to the United Kingdom.
One of those present at the memorial event for Lord Robert Fellowes remarked on Prince Harry’s appearance, saying, “He was in remarkably good form—and you could tell he was very pleased to see everybody. And he was very pleased that he had come over“, making it clear that the Duke of Sussex gets along well with the Spencers.
