Adele is planning to take a well-deserved break from music after wrapping up her Las Vegas residency this fall. During her final Munich show on August 31, the hitmaker shared her desire to step back and enjoy the life she’s spent the last seven years building.
“but after that [10 shows in Vegas], i will not see you for an incredibly long time… i just need a rest. i’ve spent the last 7 years building the life for myself, I want to live it now. I want to live my new life I’ve been building” — Adele pic.twitter.com/LwviKRcVAe

“I just need a rest. I have spent the last seven years building a new life for myself and I want to live it now.”
Adele’s remarks come as she completed some exclusive German shows in Munich at the Messe München. Following these gigs, the singer will continue her residency at Sin City’s Colosseum at Caesars Palace for another 10 performances. But after that, Adele plans to take an extended hiatus.

The “Rolling in the Deep” creator has been honest about not enjoying the spotlight several times. In a previous interview with a German media outlet, she expressed that there were no plans for new music any time soon, adding to her wish to live a quiet life.
Fans will certainly miss her, but there’s no doubt that Adele has earned this time for herself.
