After a family consensus during their summer vacation, the royal family decided that their best strategy is to ‘ignore‘ Harry and Meghan in order to shift their focus to the future of the British monarchy, according to recent reports.
A source revealed to the Express that the monarch requested a private meeting at Balmoral with the working members of the family and said, “The strategy now is to move away from focusing on what the Sussexes are doing and place an emphasis on the next generation of royals“.
“King Charles is very aware that the younger generation is the future of the monarchy and his focus is to ensure that its legacy remains once he has gone—and that can be secured in the Wales era“, the source said, assuring that from now on the Sussexes will not be taken into account for anything related to the British monarchy.
This became evident when Meghan and Harry were not invited to spend the summer holidays at Balmoral Castle as tradition dictates, unlike the Prince and Princess of Wales, Princess Anne, her daughter Zara Tindall, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, who are currently active working members of the Crown.
