According to sources close to the British monarchs, Queen Camilla Parker is playing an important role amid the tensions between King Charles III and Prince Andrew due to the royal stay in his royal residency.
According to reports, for some months now, the King has been demanding his brother to leave the Royal Lodge residence where he has lived since 2003, but the Duke of York refuses to vacate the mansion, creating a great internal conflict between the brothers; however, the Queen has intervened so that the problem does not escalate.
Currently Prince Andrew and King Charles III are on vacation at Balmoral Castle, and close sources say that, thanks to Camilla Parker, “They are not in each other’s pockets at Balmoral and probably only regularly see each other at dinner“, as the Queen has tried to prevent conflicts from being part of the monarch’s vacation.
The King’s wife has been actively “blocking crucial talks” to keep the monarch calm in the midst of his cancer treatment. The source also said, “Charles does not like confrontation at the best of times and especially when he is on holiday“, so the Queen’s priority would be to avoid conversation about the Royal Lodge during his stay at Balmoral.
