The family rift seems to be getting bigger and bigger, as in recent revealations from close sources, Prince William is reportedly opposed to Prince Harry‘s 40th birthday inheritance as stipulated in the will of his great-grandmother.
The queen mother, Elizabeth Bowes Lyon, included in her will her great-grandchildren, but the greatest economic benefit is for the youngest son of King Charles III, who with his humor and sympathy won the affection of his great-grandmother, and the only condition to collect the millionaire sum is to turn 40 years old, age that he will be on September 15th.
Despite these revelations, according to sources close to the royal family, the future king of England, Prince William, does not agree with the terms of distribution of the inheritance, as he does not consider Prince Harry worthy of such a benefit for having abandoned his royal duties in 2020.
However, a BBC article revealing the details of the inheritance makes it clear that “the two were to share £14 million. However, the majority of the cash goes to Harry, because his brother would benefit from the crown when he becomes the British king” so there would be no reason for Harry not to receive his share.
