After Prince Harry‘s official bid to host the next Invictus Games was confirmed, an insider revealed King Charles III‘s plan for the sporting event to be held in England in 2027.
Prince Harry confirmed the hosting of the games in his home country with the following statement: “Congratulations to Birmingham, UK, on winning the bid to host the Invictus Games 2027. Your city’s strong ties to the Armed Forces community made it a formidable contender from the very start“.
After that, information came to light from a close friend of the king who claims that the monarch is interested in attending the Invictus Games; “he would acknowledge it would be a good thing to go to. He would not want to look punitive“, if so, it could mean a truce between the Sussexes and the British monarchy.
It would not be surprising that King Charles III would offer an olive branch to his youngest son and founder of the Invitus Game, for although he has made statements that tarnish the image of the crown, the monarch has remained silent and has tried to be empathetic to Harry’s ideological differences.
