Recently, it was revealed the moving act of Queen Camilla following the United Kingdom riots that significantly affected public places of great importance in some of the most renown cities in England.
One of the most affected places was the Spellow Library in Liverpool, which was involved in a devastating fire that reduced to ashes important books and technical equipment of great utility for the operation of the establishment, something quite unfortunate for the locals.
However, in a letter, the Mayor of Liverpool, Steve Rotherham, revealed, “I’d like to offer my heartfelt thanks to Queen Camilla for her thoughtful letter and gift of books” and added, “Her generosity provides a much-needed boost for the people of the city region during this challenging time“.
It was later confirmed that the wife of King Charles III had contributed with 70 books to the library, which filled Rotherham with hope, and he then assured, “Her Majesty’s gift, along with the support from hundreds of authors and thousands of others, reminds us that the good in this world far outweighs the bad“.
