BLACKPINK’s Jisoo recently took a trip down memory lane and revealed a surprising reason behind her “anger” towards her former co-hosts, NCT’s Doyoung and GOT7’s Jinyoung. Recently, the BLACKPINK diva appeared on Red Velvet’s Seulgi’s show, “Hi Seulgi,” and spilled that flipping hot tea from her days as an MC on Inkigayo from 2017 to 2018.
During the episode, Jisoo funnily expressed her experience after not being able to visit SM Entertainment, NCT’s agency. The reason? She and her co-hosts would usually practice at YG Entertainment (home to BLACKPINK) and JYP Entertainment (GOT7’s agency).

But guess what? Despite Jisoo’s frequent requests to Doyoung, the host trio was never able to practice at SM Entertainment, mostly due to their busy idol agendas. Fortunately for the BLACKPINK diva, her friend Seulgi would later take her to the agency, as it is also home to Red Velvet—that’s #FriendshipGoals.
On the acting front, Jisoo recently teased her role in the highly anticipated zombie thriller K-drama “Newtopia.” While there’s no official premiere date, it has been revealed that the series could hit screens at some point in 2025.
