TXT’s Yeonjun apologizes for sharing Japan trip photos on Korean Liberation Day

TXT’s Yeonjun found himself in hot water after sharing—and quickly deleting—photos from a recent Japan trip on Korea’s National Liberation Day. This day marks South Korea and North Korea’s liberation from Japanese colonial rule. For that reason, sharing something Japan-related on this day is a big no.

The TXT member quickly realized the gravity of the situation and took to Weverse and Instagram to post a heartfelt apology. He acknowledged his “carelessness” and expressed regret for posting the photos without considering the importance of the day.
