Get ready, K-drama fans! BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Park Jeong Min have just dropped a teaser video that’s got everyone buzzing about their upcoming series, “Newtopia.” The pair revealed that this zombie-packed romance will hit screens in 2025!

The video dropped on August 17, shows Park Jeongmin introducing himself as Lee Jaeyoon, a soldier caught in a zombie outbreak in Seoul. Jisoo takes on the role of Kang Youngjoo, Jaeyoon’s military girlfriend. Both the actor and the BLACKPINK star teased a story filled with danger, love, and survival as their characters battle to see each other amid a zombie apocalypse.

For the unversed, “Newtopia” is based on Han Sangwoon’s novel “Influenza,” and it tells the story of a couple who has to navigate a hellscape of zombies while discovering their mutual love and inner strength. The show is directed by Yoon Sunghyun and co-written by Ji Hojin and Han Jinwon, making it a narrative experience from start to finish.
