Princess Anne had a harsh opinion on Queen Camilla Parker

Queen Camilla Parker’s introduction to the Royal Family was conditioned by several scandals and the outrage of the royal followers. However, the Queen slowly earned a greater reputation because of her commitment to the British crown.

Princess Anne wasn’t always excited about her sister-in-law becoming the Queen consort once King Charles III ascended the throne. She even stated that Queen Camilla Parker would never be a true Queen. The royal author, Angela Levin addressed the uncomfortable situation in her book, “Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall: From Outcast to Future Queen.”

“Anne was, for many years, opposed to the idea of Camilla being granted the title of Queen Consort. Adding the prediction that “Camilla will never be a true queen.”

On top of that, Princess Anne dated Andrew Parker Bowles before he married Camilla Parker. The romance might’ve been a source of tension between the two. Levin added Camilla and Anne’s relationship was particularly awkward from the beginning.
