BTS’ Jimin has created an unprecedented successful career in the Kpop scene, bringing thousands of fans worldwide. The idol’s fame has also been expanded to his father, Park Pil-woo, who owns Magnate Cafe in Busan.
Several reports hinted that Mr. Park had planned a fan meeting for himself, not his son Jimin of BTS, on August 11 in Takasaki City, Gunma prefecture, Japan to celebrate the opening of his cafe’s Japanese branch.
The K-Netizens found themselves in a complicated situation as some of them stated that Jimin’s father is enjoying celebrity-level popularity due to Jimin’s fame uniquely. On the other hand, there are several fans, better known as ARMY who described Mr. Park as a true celebrity because of his renowned cafe.
Ultimately, Mr. Park’s event in Japan was canceled due to personal circumstances as the organizers of the fan meeting stated. The organizers didn’t reveal any further information regarding the possible next visit from Mr. Park to Japan.
