King Charles III was absent from the royal scene for a little while as he underwent cancer treatments. However, the king has been well aware of struggles and riots in the United Kingdom in the last couple of days and he wanted to share his thoughts to the British people.
Buckingham Palace and King Charles III wanted to send his condolences to the families of the three girls victims of the attack perpetrated on July 29. However, the Palace didn’t comment on the near-daily riots following the outrage until now.
The king praised the British police and emergency services for all their hard work. The monarch of the United Kingdom usually doesn’t comment on anything that could cause political controversies but he wanted to share his thoughts about the uprising situation focusing on the British police.
“For all they are doing to restore peace in those areas that have been affected by violent disorder. shared values of mutual respect and understanding will continue to strengthen and unite the nation.”
