Disney is bringing the magic of “Lilo & Stitch” back to life with a live-action remake set to hit theaters in the summer of 2025! As of now, fans can get their first peek at the CGI version of Stitch with a short video, which was first unveiled during the D23 Expo.
Starring newcomer Maia Kealoha as the protagonist, Lilo Pelekai, the film promises to deliver the same heartwarming story of family and friendship that made the animated version a fan-favorite classic. The live-action will follow the adventures of Lilo, her older sister Nani, and their “alien pet” Stich in Hawaii.

There’s also a mix of new faces, including Sydney Agudong as Nani, Zach Galifianakis as Dr. Jumba Jookiba, and Billy Magnussen as Agent Pleakley.
