As published by royal biographer Robert Jobson in his new book ‘Catherine: Princess of Wales‘, this was the unusual way in which Kate Middleton and Prince William confirmed their romance to their friends, who never suspected anything.
The relationship between the now Prince and Princess of Wales had been kept secret for a long time, but one day they were playing the popular game of ‘Never Have I Ever‘ at a party with friends, including an ex-girlfriend of William, and it was precisely this one who made him confess.
The ex-partner of the prince, as soon as it was her turn, said, “I’ve never dated two people in this room“. This cornered William to tell the truth, confessing that he was currently in a formal relationship with Kate Middleton, who was also at the party playing, being this the way in which all his group of friends found out.
The author assures that most of those present were shocked, even Prince William’s ex-girlfriend, because the couple had kept the union quite hidden and it was a complete secret, to the point that nobody even imagined that they had something beyond a simple friendship.
