Meghan Markle celebrated her 43rd birthday on Sunday, August 4, making it the perfect moment to revive Prince Harry’s nostalgic trip down memory lane in his memoir, “Spare.” It turns out Meghan Markle’s birthday shares a significant link with King Charles’ “favorite person” – Queen Elizabeth. 

Back in the summer of 2018, the Sussexes joined King Charles at the Castle of Mey in Scotland. While they were enjoying their family moment, the revelation came: Meghan Markle’s birthday, August 4th, has a special connection to King Charles because it is a date that reminds him of his “favorite person,” the Queen Mother. While they do not share the exact same birthdate, the date is significant in King Charles’ memories and affections.

“At the memory of Gan-Gan, and the link between her and my bride, he suddenly became buoyant, telling stories I’d never heard, essentially performing, showing off for Meg,” Prince Harry revealed in his memoir.

With this cute revelation, the bond between Meghan and King Charles, already strong, seemed to deepen further during that magical weekend. However, this is now just a memory since their relationship has been estranged after Prince Harry and his wife left the royal family in 2020.
