Two weeks after its official release in theaters, it can be confirmed that ‘Deadpool & Wolverine‘ is officially the most successful R-rated movie in United States history, another important record for the Marvel franchise.
Only in the United States, during its second weekend, the third installment of ‘Deadpool’ grossed $97 million, surpassing other R-rated films such as ‘The Passion of the Christ‘ (2004) and ‘Oppenheimer‘ (2023) to become the most successful R-rated film in the country.
Since its release, it has generated earnings of over $390 million in the United States alone and over $824 million at the global box office, proving that its debut has been a total success worldwide, setting a new all-time record for Marvel.

If the success of this ‘Deadpool’ sequel continues over the next few days, it won’t be long before it surpasses the $1 billion mark and will compete with ‘Inside Out 2‘ for the top grossing movie of the year.
