Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently sat down for a rare joint interview with Jane Pauley on CBS Sunday Morning this August 4th. During their conversation, the couple revealed a new initiative called “The Parents Network” and Meghan Markle opened up about her thoughts of self-harm. However, what caught really the attention of eagle-eyed viewers was the Duchess of Sussex’s contradictory style.

Back in December 2022, when the couple’s Netflix documentary “Harry & Meghan” premiered, the mother of two complained about the fashion rules inside the royal family. As part of the monarchy, she was allegedly not allowed to wear colorful outfits and it was also forbidden to wear the same color as other more senior royal family members. Here’s what she said:
“You had to think about it. So I thought… ‘Well, what’s a color that they probably will never wear? Camel? Beige? White?”
Despite disliking this fashion rule, the Duchess of Sussex has been mostly spotted wearing beige, black, or white outfits. This contradictory behavior was also evident in the couple’s recent interview on CBS Sunday Morning. Meghan Markle was filmed wearing a 2,000 euros beige linen ensemble from Ralph Lauren, adding to her “quiet luxury” style, which doesn’t match the words she said in the 2022 docuseries.
